You no longer must suffer playing a steampunk adventurer made up of flesh and bones. Gone are the days of having to worry about grafting prosthetics onto your body or fear that an enemy might craft a bio-zapper and start messing with your anatomy. Today, you start playing a simulacron.

Simulacrons are a new playable race for Tephra: the Steampunk RPG. Like all of our core races, you're going to get three sample adventurers, three NPCs, and a whole slew of regular and random traits. Simulacrons are automatons that are brought to life from the essence taken from another living creature. You might be a heroic person reborn in a mechanical body or a deranged murderbot just trying to survive.
